Write Job Postings with AI — Just Answer Questions

Published: June 30, 2026 5 min

You posted the job, but no one applies. You try to write it, and you can’t find words for what makes your workplace worth joining. It’s a complaint I hear often from owners struggling to hire.

I’m Naohiro Hayashi, creator of Soreda!. This article shows how, just by answering an AI’s questions, you can write a job posting. A note first: AI helps with attractive copy, but hiring is subject to employment law, and the employer is responsible for ensuring legal compliance. Read it on that footing.

Why the posting won’t come, and why applicants don’t

There are a couple of clear reasons writing a job posting is hard.

Putting your own appeal into words is difficult

When you work somewhere every day, its good points become ordinary, and putting them into words as “appeal” gets hard. Plenty of owners assume “we’ve got nothing special” and overlook the very strengths they could be sharing.

It ends up as a bland posting like everyone else’s

Unsure what to write, you end up with a safe, seen-it-before posting. Especially when hiring isn’t your main job, you write a posting only a few times a year — so falling into a bland template is understandable. The trouble is, a posting that looks like every other one gives a job seeker no reason to pick you.

The AI asks, so you just answer

What breaks this deadlock is a dialogue-based AI. You don’t have to start writing on your own.

The AI asks about the role, conditions, and workplace appeal in order

The job posting AI asks for what a posting needs, one at a time. Answer prompts like “what’s the work?”, “what’s the atmosphere?”, “what’s good about it for the person?” and the pieces fill in.

Answering builds the posting

As you answer, the appeal you’d stopped noticing — because it was too ordinary — comes out in words. The exchange with the AI doubles as a fresh look at your own workplace. Things you take for granted, like a flexible schedule or a boss who actually listens, are often exactly what a job seeker is looking for, and the questions surface them.

Three steps to write a posting with AI

The flow is three steps.

Step 1 — Give the role and conditions

First, tell it the role you’re hiring for and on what conditions. That’s the starting point.

Step 2 — Answer the AI’s questions about workplace appeal

From there, you just answer. Questions that dig into the work’s rewards and the workplace make the posting concrete.

Step 3 — Review and adjust the generated posting

Once you’ve answered through, you have a posting. Review it and put it in your own words. The ways a smaller company can stand out are covered in Job Postings That Help Small Businesses Compete with Big Companies.

Tips for a better AI job posting

The result depends on the quality of what you provide.

Give the real, specific appeal of the workplace

“A great place to work” doesn’t land. Provide the actual picture — “you handle a full range of tasks within three months,” “shift requests are easy to accommodate.” And writing it better than reality leads to a post-hire gap and early turnover. Appeal grounded in fact is what gathers people who stay.

Don’t write conditions that break the law

Hiring has legal constraints. Limiting recruitment by age or gender is restricted in principle, and this applies to softer wording too — phrasings that merely imply an age or gender are best avoided. AI helps with attractive copy, but the ultimate responsibility for following these rules lies with the employer. When in doubt, check with a relevant authority or a professional before you post.

FAQ

Q. What jobs can it handle? A. It works broadly for postings of any kind — full-time, part-time, and so on.

Q. Will this increase applications? A. It doesn’t guarantee more applications. Use it as an aid to put your appeal into a form that reaches job seekers. Posting quality is one factor; the conditions and the hiring market also matter.

Q. Can I edit it myself? A. Yes. The generated posting is fully adjustable, so shape it into your own words and tone before you publish it.

Q. How much does it cost? A. Pricing is ticket-based, counted per posting. See the official site for current details.

The hardest part of a job posting is putting your appeal into words. Turn that into “just answer the questions,” and strengths you’d overlooked come to the surface. Keep the appeal specific and grounded in fact. On that footing, give it a try.
